Liverpool release statement insisting Coutinho will NOT be sold amid Barcelona interest


Barcelona are interested in signing the Brazilian playmaker and Dembele - The Reds says they would not entertain an offer of any kind for Coutinho - Barcelona are looking for replacements for Neymar and Andres Iniesta Liverpool have released a statement saying they would not entertain any offers for Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho despite interest from Barcelona. The Reds have rejected Barca’s £90m bid for the 25-year-old as they seek a replacement for the ageing Andres Iniesta and departed Neymar. The Reds’ statement read: “We wish to offer clarity as regards our position on a possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho. “The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered and he will remain a member of Liverpool Football Club when the summer window closes.”
