APC Leaders From Oworo Gives Gov. Bello Pass Mark On Development


Political appointees in the cabinet of present administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, have applauded the Governor for his commitment towards bringing development to the grassroots, especially their area.
The appointees during a meeting held to assess their own performances and to brainstorm on the critical amenities in their ward, applauded the Governor for his determination towards completing the Felele-Agbaja road project.
While describing the road as critical to the socio-economic development of Oworoland, the appointees noted with pride, the willingness demonstrated by Governor Bello towards completing the project.
They noted that their land is in desperate need of infrastructural overhauling, and appreciate the Governor for the completion of the Banda to Jamata Rural Electrification Project and appealed for the extension of the project to Owara and Agbodo communities, including other value addition policies to the resources of the communities which have endeared the government to the people.
They further appealed to the Governor to prevail on contractors handling SDGs Projects in all parts of Oworo ward to expedite action and complete them on time for the benefits of the people.
Present at the appointees’ deliberation were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Multi Lateral and International Donor Agencies, Hon Adoga Ibrahim; the Supervisor for Works, Lands and Housing, Lokoja Local Government, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu; and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Secondary Education, Hon Dele Iselewa.
Also at the meeting were the Special Assistant to the Speaker on Domestic Matters,  Hon Aliu Usman and the GYB Grassroots Connect Coordinator for Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon David Illujunka.
Furthermore, the appointees agreed to contribute from their salaries and allowances for the running of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ward.
