Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata targeting Crystal Palace injury comeback


Alvaro Morata has rubbished the reports that he will be out of action for 6 weeks. The Spanish international sustained an hamstring injury in Chelsea's defeat against Man City. Morata is optimistic that he will return to action on October 14 when Chelsea will face Crystal Palace Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has on Tuesday, October 3, dismissed the reports that he could be out of action for 6 weeks following the injury he sustained against Manchester City. The Spanish international was substituted in the tie against the current Premier League leaders as Chelsea went on to lose the match at Stamford Bridge. Morata, 24, scored seven goals for the Blues since completing a club record £70m move from Real Madrid and scans showed he suffered a grade II hamstring tear. He has however taken to his Instagram page claiming that he is targeting a return to action on October 14, 2017 when Chelsea will face Crystal Palace. Earlier, salihumushir.blogspot.com had reported of how Chelsea coach Antonio Conte stated clearly that the injury sustained by Alvaro Morata is not a serious one.
