Kogi State Publicity Secretary of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Tims Ejiga has called on Governor Yahaya Bello to seek spiritual deliverance from bondage.
Ejiga made the call during a condolence visit to the leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi state chapter over the death of Late Edward Soje.
“The events surrounding the unfortunate death of the late civil servant, Soje, is enough to prove to Governor Bello and the aides beclouding his sense of judgement need fervent prayers to deliver him and the government from bondage.
“No wonder the ‘Nigeria Prays’ event, under the leadership of General Yakubu Gowon, has scheduled a prayer meeting for Kogi in order to court the favour of God in the state.
Ejiga, while noting that comments about the Bello-led administration in the public domain is unpalatable, he stressed that Bello needs prayer to enable him succeed in governing the state.
